CHRISTMAS BASKET ROUND UP 2019: Treasurer Trevor Smith reports that over $1800 has been raised for the Christmas Baskets Fund. Coordinator for the Christmas Baskets, Darlene Scott tells us “In the end we did 6 baskets. Each basket received a generous amount of non-perishable goods, a turkey or a ham, carrot, potatoes, clementines and a dozen eggs along with a few small gifts, socks etc.. Some of our renters were invited to bring in non-perishables also and their response was heart-warming. Each family will receive either a $125 gift card to Wal-Mart or $125 cash. Money was also used to by the perishable items. Any money left over will be split between Dorval Community Aid and CAC in the New Year. Photo – R Harrison.
